TWO METHODS (only for PC, does not work on Android).
In YOUTUBE
Method #2
Click on the three dots on the same line as the « thumbs up » « thumbs down » and select « open transcript ».
In the transcript window, select the three vertical dots and toggle the timestamp off.
Manually select all the text in the transcription window and past in word
Remove the carriage returns like this :

Copy the text and past in in Google Translation.
In YOUTUBE
- Click on the cogwheel (lower left of the video screen)
- Go to the subtitle section
- Select the speaker’s language with the option « automatically generated »
- Once selected, return once again to the subtitle section and select « Automatic translation »
- To change color of background/foreground, return to subtitle section and select « options »
